A historic gem nestled in the heart of the Adirondacks, The Lake Placid Stagecoach Inn offers a rustic and elegant getaway from everyday life. Built in the late 1700's on seven acres of land, the Inn is the oldest building in Lake Placid. Updated by the current stewards Stacia and Mike, the Inn has maintained its charm while adding touches of comfort and luxury for the distinguished traveler. They are proud to be the current stewards of LPSCI continuing lodging and dining traditions that have been a cornerstone of this community for over 200 years.

Begin each morning with a complimentary breakfast in the dining room, your suite, or in a variety of private seating areas (the covered front porch, backyard garden or on one of the upper terraces. Take your coffee to the Great Room which boasts cathedral ceilings framed with yellow birch logs and warm up by the original fireplace. Hop in the car and drive ten minutes to the greatest winter sports destination in the northeast -- Whiteface Mountain. In the spring and summer, explore the trails through the picturesque Adirondacks. The Village of Lake Placid is minutes away and offers great restaurants, shopping, and nightlife.

We are thrilled that we are able to offer our guests the finest dining experience in Lake Placid. Our Resident Executive Chef William Darrah has been impressing all of our guests with his talents in the kitchen. He creates unique menus weekly so you will always be able to try something new. We are excited to be able to offer our guests access to our full House Bar, relax outside in our backyard oasis; enjoy the fire pit and grab a drink or two from our vintage up-cycled horse trailer bar. Settle down for the evening in your private, authentically decorated Adirondack suite. Each of our suites are named after prior owners-- like Melvil Dewey of the Dewey Decimal System-- and contain unique, hand-picked antiques.
